The super-wealthy industrialist and arms dealer Zsa-zsa Korda (Benicio del Toro) has many enemies, and he’s survived assassination attempts by the dozen. When his plane nearly crashes, he decides to hand his business over to his daughter (Mia Threapleton)—who is well on her way to being ordained as a nun—on a trial basis. With Björn (Michael Cera) in tow as their assistant, father and daughter embark on the completion of Zsa-zsa’s megalomaniacal grand design. To this end, they must get the better of various terrorists and governments. Perfectly composed images, a wonderfully bizarre screenplay and film stars galore—cult director Wes Anderson has once again done what he does best to perfection.
