In a rush to get away from his problems on earth, Mickey (Robert Pattinson) hastily signs up for a space mission without noticing that he’s being hired as an "expendable”. When (not if) something happens to him, the bioprinter simply produces a new clone. The film follows Mickey with affection and fondness as he encounters various vagaries and mad turns, and he grows closer to our hearts with every new iteration. It is hard to imagine a more perfect fit for the role of the increasingly world-weary Mickey than Robert Pattinson.
